Connector
The TNC series product is designed as a threaded variant of the BNC connector. The TNC RF connectors are characterized by screw threads for mating and are miniature, threaded, waterproof units with a constant 50-ohm impedance. They operate from DC to 11 GHz and come in two types: standard and reverse polarity. These low-cost connectors typically use die-cast and molded components. Although their performance may not match that of industrial or high-quality grade products, they are ideal for a variety of commercial applications. TNC connectors are widely used for antenna connections and have many applications in avionics, defense, communications, and general industrial markets. Reverse polarity and 75-ohm TNC connectors are also available.
